Meet your new favorite cozy make – the Wheat Stitch Sweater! This stunning top-down crochet sweater combines effortless comfort, modern style, and my signature wheat stitch texture for a design that feels as good as it looks. (And – there’s no sewing required!)

Construction of your new sweater begins with a ribbed neckline, which is worked in rows, then joined to form the foundation for crocheting in the round. From there, you’ll work the yoke, shaping it with smooth, consistent increases to contour beautifully around the shoulders and upper body using optional short rows.

Once the yoke is complete, the stitches are divided to separate the sleeves from the body. The body is then crocheted downward to the hem ribbing, while the sleeves are completed individually and finished with ribbed cuffs for a clean, structured look.
