Description

In Wisconsin we see a lot of homes and barns with large wooden quilt squares adorning their exterior. The inspiration for the Village Square lap quilt came directly from a wooden barn quilt. To add an extra twist or texture, this pattern uses stitched-together C2C blocks with images of houses, trees, and a traditional quilt star.

The Village Square Blanket is made by creating small diagonal tiles using the corner-to-corner double crochet block technique. Once smaller square and rectangle blocks are complete they are assembled to create the finished blanket. Each crochet quilt square and rectangle has written and charted directions. It is recommended to follow the smaller individual charts for each block and use the large chart for the assembly only.

To support our Independent Designers, this pattern is excluded from promotions.
