Solig is Swedish for “Sunny”and it’s easy to see why I’d name my shawl exactly that. The sunflowers that make up the center panel of this shawl are pure joy and make this shawl ‘extra’. At 109″ x 25” this is the coziest, squishiest shawl of them all. It’s meant to be worn, wrapped, knotted, and loved.

Made with City Tweed DK from WeCrochet it’s a Merino/Alpaca blended tweed yarn. It’s soft and luxurious and the drape is unreal. Pattern includes video tutorials for the sunflower granny square, the continuous join as you go method of assembly for the center panel, and on how to work the body of shawl.
