The Equinox Cocoon Cardi is a beginner-friendly cocoon style cardigan pattern. Made side to side in one large rectangle and strategically seamed to make sleeves, this construction style is perfect if you are looking to make your first garment as there are no increases or decreases to keep track of (and very little sewing)! Using mostly double crochet and chain stitches, this filet crochet top is oversized and flowy with a cute feminine edging. Unlike most cocoon cardigans though, this one is shorter in length with elbow length sleeves, making it perfect to wear in the spring or fall with a tank or tee, or as a cozy extra layer over a long-sleeved shirt in winter.
