This Intermediate level blanket is made by working rows of petal stitch which is based on interlocking groups of shells made from DC2tog clusters. By using 2 or more alternating colors, a pleasing contrast is achieved framing each flower shape. It follows a 6-row pattern repeat. Each panel of flowers is made over 3 rows. The pattern quickly establishes itself making it easier to follow and complete as you progress.

A simple border frames the blanket.
